Casa Noce

Casa Noce, "the walnut house", is a personal study of a dark Italian interior. It was not commissioned. The aim was to see how far a dark palette can go before detail is lost, and how furniture reads when most of the room sits in shadow.
Walnut panelling and an arched niche set the tone in the living room. The kitchen adds red marble and framed walnut cabinetry, the dining room a lit glass niche behind a round black table. The furniture is real product, with pieces from Molteni&C, Desalto, Bensen and ClassiCon and 3D assets from Dimensiva.
The images follow one late afternoon: low sun moving across the wood, then the lamps taking over as the light fades. The scene was rendered as wide stills, vertical crops for social media and a short animation.
AI tools were used for the concept images, the technical drawings and the camera motion. Modelling, materials, lighting, rendering and post-production were done in 3ds Max, Corona Renderer and Photoshop.
