Agglomerati-
Agglomerati is a London studio making stone furniture, founded in 2019 by Australian designer Sam Henley. Every piece is made to order in Carrara, Italy, from the buyer's choice of stone. The collections are built on simple geometric forms, so the marble itself has to carry the image.
The brief was a set of studio renders for the website: a full view and a close-up of each table, all on the same set and in the same light. Agglomerati sent technical drawings and a short description of the setting they had in mind. We designed the set, a pale wall and a polished concrete floor, built the tables from the drawings and matched each stone: white marble, black marble with white veining, two deep greens and a white stone with heavy burgundy veining.
The close-ups matter as much as the full views. They show the edge profiles, the joint between top and leg and the way the veining runs across the stone. That is what a buyer looks at before paying for a made-to-order piece.
Tables: 4 Columns, Alexis, Nadia 60x90, Nadia 70x70, New Square, Round, Simon. Software: 3ds Max, Corona Renderer, Photoshop.
